Packing Recommendations:
Standard Weekend Packing List
Pack all of your clothes in zip lock bags in a duffel bag this
month and
remember to bring the following: sleeping bag, personal cup,
winter boots, winter hats, gloves, warm socks, and
lots of spirit. We will be sleeping in cabins this
month, but make sure that you dress for the weather!
Cotton socks, jeans, and cotton shirts should be left home this month.
Once they are wet, they provide NO warm to your son.
Synthetic materials and wool work the best for cold weather.
Activities Planned for the
Weekend: The staff
will keep everyone busy this weekend. The theme for the
weekend is Viking Olympics and the boys n each patrol will be
competing against the dads in a series of challenging events.
All of our meals will be provided by the excellent chefs at the
camp and boys will be asked to help out in the kitchen for each
meal. The culmination of the campout will be the boys
admitting the dads rocked the house at our indoor campfire
program. Patrol leaders, staff, and dads are asked to
bring your best skits and songs for a fun evening. We will
have pizza and pop to close it out.
