Packing Recommendations: Polar
Bear Packing List
Scouts will be building their own
shelters this
weekend, so you MUST dress for the weather. All personal gear
must be packed in a backpack and scouts are reminded to bring
a sleeping bag, at least two winter hats and two pairs of gloves,
warm and dry winter boots, and a personal cup.
Everyone is responsible for their own meals this weekend.
That includes lunch and dinner on Saturday, as well
as breakfast on Sunday. All meals should be able to be
eaten by adding hot water, or as is. A suggested list of
meals can be accessed from the link below. It is a good
idea to bring an extra blanket to use inside your sleeping bag
at night.
Activities Planned for the
Weekend:
The theme for this month's campout is Polar Bear and the staff
will have activities planned for the weekend. Everyone
will be building their own shelters this weekend, so bring lots
of tarps, rope and other shelter materials.
