Outside Service Opportunity

The Co-Moor Rec Club reached out to Troop 701 to offer the following opportunity:

“We have a clean-up day scheduled for May 15th (rain date May 16th) for our Recreation Club in Strongsville. Some of the activities we will be doing are picking up sticks, sweeping the parking lot of all the acorns, and raking leaves from the grass.

If any of the Scouts from your troop will like to earn service hours, please have them contact me. If they bring a form for me to complete and sign, I will be able to prove they provided service hours for our community.

If possible, please have the Scouts bring a push broom or rake.

Do not hesitate to call or text me with any questions. Thank you.

This is not a troop-sponsored service project, so no adult leaders from Troop 701 will be present. If a Scout wishes to participate, he is encouraged to work with a parent, as the Troop cannot verify that Scout safety protocols (including Youth Protection) will be followed. The form for recording out-of-Troop service hours is below. Thank you to all of our Scout families for all the work you do for our community!
