Risk-based guidance on gatherings from the state of Ohio

Governor DeWine announced new guidance on Thursday based on the Public Health Advisory System. The new guidance states that “residents in a red/purple county should limit hosting or attending gatherings of any size.”

To comply with this directive, we will be limiting in-person Troop 701 activities (meetings, Eagle projects, etc) until our county’s level drops to the yellow/orange rating. We are hopeful that this may happen over the next few weeks, before our regular Scouting year activities start for the fall. Thank you for your patience with the uncertainty, as the health of our Scouts and families remains our highest priority!

For 40 years, boys have joined Troop 701 of Strongsville, Ohio for one simple reason: "Because they wanted to." Together on the Scouting trail to Eagle they experience adventure, discovery and teamwork.
