Troop 701!
With Thanksgiving shortly upon us, myself and the rest of the leadership team wish Troop 701 scouts, families and supporters a joyful start to your holiday season.
Winter Schedule
Here’s a snapshot of Troop 701’s Winter camps. Please remember too that December Camp registration is now open. Sign up for camp here.
December 4 – 6 Fitness, Fun & Run Camp, Camp Paradise, Seville, OH map
January 15 – 17 – Winter Wilderness Survival Camp, Camp Avery Hand/Firelands SR, Wakeman, OH map
February 12 -14 – Winter Sports Camp, Camp Manatoc, Peninsula, OH map
Also, on Friday, January 8th the PLC will be holding its Planning Retreat at Hidden Hollow. On the following day, Saturday, January 9th Troop 701 will be hosting Webelos Winter One-Nighter Camp.
Camp Photos
The Troop is in the process of posting all camp photos to the troop website. Photos are stored through the Google Photos service in original resolution and they are all downloadable either individually or in batch. To find the photos, head to our Camping Schedule page and look for the photo links next to the completed camps at the bottom of the page. And finally, some housekeeping…. we need all tents and cook kits returned at tomorrow night’s Troop Meeting.
