Troop 701 is seeking parents to volunteer for one of the following positions:
- Troop Gear Exchange Coordinator – Sort, store and promote exchange of used uniform shirts, pants, hiking boots.
- Yard Charge Coordinator – Work with Strongsville seniors, other Scouting units and troop members for annual leaf-raking event.
The Yard Charge Coordinator focuses on a single annual event in which the troop gives back to our community. Volunteer time is concentrated in a 30-60 day period. The Gear Exchange Coordinator position is ongoing throughout the year and needs a small investment of time every month.
Thank you to parents who have stepped forward to assist the troop committee. Since the original post last week, we have a coordinator for the annual holiday Giving Tree!
