 Indians Game One of our usual summer activities is attending an Indians game and this year that game will be on Tuesday, August 11 as the Indians take on the Texas Rangers.  We have about 15 seats left across from Section 509 that we will be selling for $5.00 each.  This is a family event, so everyone is invited to join us that night.  Make sure that you get your tickets before they are gone.

New Scouts Swim Test There will be a BSA Swim Test for all new scouts this Saturday, June 6th, 11:00 a.m. at the Waterford Development swimming pool.  Any scouts who did not attend Summer Camp last year, and are going on the Mohican camping trip, should plan on attending.  Scouts who take the test now, will not have to take it again at summer camp.

Troop 701 Embroidered Merchandise Embroidered items (baseball hat, winter hat, golf shirt, and fleece) are available for a limited time.  Orders will be accepted thru June 9.  Payment must be included when you turn in your order form and we will have the merchandise back to you before your son goes to camp at the end of July.  This merchandise is not limited to just the boys, we have adults sizes too.  If you have any questions about these orders, please let Mr. Young know.  We do have troop t-shirts for sale if your son needs one.  They sell for $10.00 and are available at all troop meetings.

 Final Summer Camp Payments Due   The highlight of the Scouting year is the week of summer camp at Heritage Reservation.  We depart for camp at 8:30 a.m. on Sunday, July 26 and return to Chapman Elementary at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 1.  The final payments for Summer Camp are due by April 28.  After that date, the cost for Summer Camp will increase  by $15.00.  If you have any questions about summer camp, please see one of the adult leaders.
